  3. You can also travel to your favorite place. It can be to another city, state or country. If you lack funds for this, you can go to your favorite restaurant, park or mall and just spend the day there. You can also go to your favorite room in your house. One of the best anti- stress activities is just spending quality time with your kids.
  4. Talking to your best friend, your partner or your parents can help you feel good if you feel down. They may even give you great advice for your problems. Remember that it is the closest people who will really give you a helping hand.
  5. When you are stressed out, do something you like such as your favorite hobby. You can try painting, dancing, collecting stamps or anything that perks up your interest. When you do things you like, it calms your mind.
  6. You can also have a massage as this relieves tense muscles and relaxes the mind and body. Tell your therapist to use aromatherapy oil on your body as it calms and soothes the senses. You will feel your stress leaving you.
  7. Meditation is also one of the most used anti stress activities. To meditate, you need to be in a quiet and relaxing place. You need to sit down, close your eyes and relax your whole body and mind.

Probably the most effective of all anti-stress activities is praying. This is because of the following reasons:

  • You release all your worries and leave it all to a Supreme Being.
  • You become calm because you know someone out there will solve all your worries.
  • Faith relieves worries
